Leadership Team Workshops
DISC ADVANCED® Leadership Team Workshops
Practical DISC ADVANCED® workshops that help leadership teams understand behavioural preferences and improve communication, so they can work together more effectively.
Especially suited to independent school leadership teams, with workshops also available to other organisations.
Why DISC ADVANCED®
DISC ADVANCED® compares a leader's Natural Style with their Adjusted Style.
This helps leaders see how they prefer to work and how they may be adapting to the expectations around them. It can also show when that adaptation is useful and when it is taking extra energy.
For a leadership team, these insights can make everyday friction easier to talk about. People often discover that behaviour they considered completely reasonable has landed very differently with a colleague. Those moments of recognition can bring some welcome lightness to conversations that teams sometimes make harder than they need to be.
I use those insights to help teams have more useful conversations about how they communicate and work together.
How this connects with Owning the Leadership Role
Your natural behavioural preferences influence how you tend to lead. Your role may also ask you to use behaviours that do not come as naturally.
The workshop helps participants explore that difference without labelling one style as better. We focus on how behaviour affects leadership impact and where conscious adaptation can support the role.
“Fran’s personalised coaching came at just the right time, helping me navigate my first year in executive leadership with confidence and clarity. She has a way of helping you see things from different perspectives, pushing you to think differently and take steps that truly matter.”

Frequently asked questions
-
DISC ADVANCED® helps people understand how they tend to respond, communicate and work with others. The comparison between Natural and Adjusted Styles can show how someone adapts to the demands of a role or environment.
-
No. We use DISC to build awareness, not to label people. No behavioural style is better than another. The conversation focuses on how different preferences help the team and where conscious adaptation may be useful.
-
Yes. We start with a conversation about your team's context and what you want the workshop to achieve. I then shape the emphasis around the leadership questions most relevant to your group.
-
A workshop can help your team explore communication, working relationships, leadership impact, role expectations and the way people adapt their behaviour under pressure.
-
We begin by clarifying the team's context and what you want the workshop to achieve. I can then recommend a suitable format and confirm whether DISC ADVANCED® is the right approach.
